Residents in Houston's Fifth Ward have been waiting for their voices to be heard on the ongoing cancer cluster problem that has been overtaking their neighborhoods. A 2019 state report shows a cancer cluster may be due to creosote contamination from a nearby railyard, but a virtual meeting on Monday, June 21, posed a new set of issues for the community.
